Emma is a Process Engineer with 6 years’ experience in the Medical Device Industry. Emma’s earlier roles have been in areas relating to medical device manufacturing specifically Quality and New Product Excellence. In 2017 Emma took on a role in the New Product Development team supporting process development for next generation implantable neuromodulation devices to treat disorders such as Parkinson’s and chronic pain. More recently Emma has taken on a Technical and Projects Lead role in an R&D team looking at novel coating solutions for multidivisional needs across the Boston Scientific global network. Prior to her time with Boston Scientific, Emma completed both her BSC in Pharmaceutical and Industrial Chemistry and her PhD in the area of Nanotechnology at the University of Limerick.
